One Response to “Is it okay to get moderate cardio exercise when trying to build muscle mass?”
1. rest is very important. you sound like you have a busy life. if you are serious about building mass rest is very important get 7-9 hours of sleep a day. if you don’t get enough rest your body will not repair itself and all your hard work will lead to over training and subsequently you will not get the results you were hoping for.
2. eat. when you have an active lifestyle you need to increase your calories. this usually means more carbs(whole grains preferably). food provides you with the energy you need to work so hard and increase muscle mass. i suggest at the very least a 3000 calorie diet. also consume proteins with every meal.
3. if you are serious about your fitness and gaining mass you will want to limit the amount of clubbing that you do.
