How can I keep my hair from looking oily and not damaged?

    actually, washing your hair keeps it healthy, so that isnt the problem. instead of blow drying it, try letting it dry on its own, and only blow dry it to get it dry from barely damp. also, after you tease it, use hair spray to keep the hold. also, you may consider new products or shampoo. i recomend herbal essence, maybe try that. if all else fails go to your hair dresser and get her to find products that will stop what ever it is that is happening to your hair. maybe he/she will have an answer.

    I think the blow drying can do damage, refrain from doing so every time you wash your hair. I have a similar problem, so sometimes volumizing shampoes can help. Masaging your scalp while washing hair helps as well. Conditioner on roots actually makes hair greesier. So putting it on the tips is a better idea.
