The only way I can see you doing so is if you go to a GYM and work out OR buy some work-out jackets such as mabye Nike and gym pants.

    Or move to Alaska.

I have the same problem. I find videos give me the best substitute. I find Turbo jam videos the best cardio videos around. They are fun and very challenging. They also involve kickboxing which I love. I sometimes get bored with just one video so I keep several around. I also do Tae Bo, Kenpo and Plyometrics – found in P90X set of workout videos, and the Firm videos. These seem to be the most challenging. I have found that beachbody.com keeps a steady supply of very challenging workout videos.

Go to the gym if you can. I was having the same problem and I joined the gym. :)

Or you can buy those video tapes where you do aerobis for like 30 minutes…Or if all else fails jog in place or around your house. It most likely won’t give you the same work out but it’s better than sitting around and getting lazy.

You will not get sick from running in the cold weather. You simply need to dress appropriately. Wear polypropelene underwear to wick away sweat beneath a nylon running suit, wear a polypro hat and face mask that you can remove when you get too warm. I have run thousands of miles in below zero weather when I lived at 10,000′ elevation in Colorado. If you can not bear to run in the cold, you can run on an indoor track at a recreation center. Or you can swim, which is great aerobic work. Or you can do aerobics by tape. There are endless possibilities for winter workouts. Do not pay attention to those who tell you to take pills or other crap. Exercise!

You burn the same amount of calories by walking five miles as you would by running the same distance. Yes, it takes about twice as long, but how important is the exercise.

You can do some power walking in malls, gymnasiums and other, indoor public places. Plus you can get similar benefits by running in place in your own home, jumping jacks, squat thrusts or any other exercise that gets your larger muscles moving with a lot of reps. Heck, standing in place, waving your arms around is a form of aerobics.

Don’t forget the benefits of climbing and descending flights of stairs.
