glajime

As the other poster said - I think everyone knows their own limit esp. those of us who do hard cardio stuff i.e. running, cycling, swimming etc.

Just to be careful - if you feel faint or have perhaps probs with
vision (stars in eyes) etc. then you need to stop. Or even if you can really feel your heart beating hard or in a bad rhythm!

I think when you are just starting aerobic exercise you just need to listen to your body. If that means 5 mins walking and
2 mins running so be it.

mahend

Well its different for everyone if there is a certain time to stop. Try to stop when you feel dizzy or light headed. Also if you're stumbling over your feet too much then stop. A sweat isn't bad it just means that you're working and a little pain isn't bad either. If there is intense pain then slow down and depending on how your body feels then stop. Also stop if you feel dehydrated. If you don't enjoy what you're doing then switch.
