3 times a week is ok. too many can hurt your ligaments.

It’s not bad at all!! the more exercise you do the better and as you’ve been doing it for 2yrs, it’s obviously not a strain on your body! good on you for being so active! :-) xx

It is suggested that everybody take part in aerobic exercise at least three times a week for thirty minutes. If you workout on the elliptical everyday and feel great, then it sounds like its working for you.

That sounds fine to me. (I used to do an hour on the elliptical as well) Just make sure you are changing your difficulty & incline every few weeks so that your body doesn’t get used to your routine.

you shouldnt have to do that for more than 3 days a week. i would say you are overtaxing your body, if you do that everyday. Not good for your joints, i would imagine, your body needs tme to repair the tears it gets during strenuous exercise.

I think that your workout schedule is fine. Ellipticals are easy on the knees so you don’t have to worry about that and daily regiment is no worse than if you had an active job where you had to move around a lot.

As long as you have the Gym membership there is no way you are harming your bod by doing exercising routines every day!!!

Now add to that a nice walk in the fresh air!! one hour every day including holidays and Sundays!! Walk as fast as you can for half an hour, turn and go back home the same speed. Don’t worry about milage or pedometer readings here!! It is the hour that matters.

You will be absorbing some of the Vitamin D from the sun which is essential to good health and breathing deeply in the air!!

Have you made any progress doing it everyday for two years? If not you might need to mix up your workout. Anytime you get your body into a routine you are going to stop seeing results. As for being bad for your body, no as long as you are not getting injured it is fine to train everyday.
